Ashraf Al Eid is a seasoned Human Resources executive, transformational consultant, author, and thought leader with more than 30 years of leadership and professional experience across diverse industries in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
Throughout his career, Ashraf has held senior and executive HR leadership positions across major organizations in sectors including investment, banking and financial services, automotive, aviation, retail, food and beverage, insurance, real estate, construction, manufacturing, and services. His experience has given him a broad understanding of how people, culture, leadership, governance, and organizational strategy must work together to achieve sustainable business performance.
Most recently, Ashraf served as Group Vice President of Human Resources at Al Muhaidib Group, where his responsibilities extended across a large and diversified organization of approximately 15,000 employees operating in multiple business sectors. His earlier leadership journey includes senior positions with organizations such as Majid Al Futtaim, Najm, McDonald’s, SAMA Airlines, Al Issa Group, and Al Hamrani Group.
Following his transition from corporate executive leadership, Ashraf established Ashraf HR Innovation Strategies Foundation (HRISF), through which he provides strategic HR advisory and transformation services. He is currently working as a Human Resources Transformational Consultant for AMPO Arabia, supporting the organization through a comprehensive HR transformation journey. His work encompasses HR strategy and governance, organizational structure, policies and procedures, performance management, grading and compensation, learning and development, employee relations, succession planning, workforce planning, HR compliance, and the development of sustainable people practices aligned with business objectives.
Ashraf is also an author, bringing together his professional HR experience and his interest in exploring the human and ethical foundations of management. He authored the book “Human Resources in View of the Qur’an and Sunnah,” which examines Human Resources and management principles through the perspective of Islamic teachings. The book explores areas such as leadership, justice and fairness, accountability, consultation, performance, employee responsibility, motivation, excellence, and the development of people, demonstrating how principles rooted in the Qur’an and Sunnah can provide meaningful guidance for contemporary Human Resources management and organizational leadership.
Academically, Ashraf has completed the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) Program at The Wharton School, holds a master’s degree in human resources, and has undertaken extensive professional development throughout his career. He is also a Certified International Trainer.
His contributions to the HR profession have earned him several regional and international recognitions, including CHRO of the Year – Middle East 2024, TopMost HR Leader – Middle East 2024, Global HR Leader 2024, and the PeopleFirst Leader Award 2025. He has also served as a jury member for prominent HR awards and recognition programs across the GCC and regularly participates in regional and international conferences as a keynote speaker, panelist, moderator, and HR thought leader.
